Trees

I decided to do some brainstorming and research on trees as a topic for a quilt. Above you can see some leaves from a gingko tree. It is one of the most ancient trees. We had thousands of gingko species before the dinosaur. We now have but one. It thrives in cities, air pollution does not bother it, its leaves turn a bright yellow as they fall. It's leaf structure is more primative than other leaves of current trees,

Trees in general give off oxygen. They clean the air. They help in globel warming.
